This first set of pictures are of Dan and Ria (Collin had the camera) as we build the H2O car launcher. Amazing what you can do with parts left over from installing a new garage door!

The ISS Test Car Building the water powered car launch ramp Dan pauses a moment for a view from the end of the ramp during night time construction Collin & Ria added rails to keep the cars on track Ria adds some final touches to the launch track A low power bicycle pump test The test launch Micah, an I.S.S. member, decides to try to help after a successfull test of the h2O car launcher

The following are several pictures from the event on 9/25/05. We cant wait until Summer 2006!

Some of I.S.S. chat and get ready for the rush of the kids. Kevin Ria Teaches the Cub Scouts some basic physics. I.S.S. Helpers and our infamous Minions. The kids line up to launch thier water rockets. Collin works with the older kids and give instructions on launching the solid fuel rockets. Ria fills up cars and rockets with water. Kevin tests out the system by launching one of the rockets. Kerosene containers work great for filling bottles. Don't worry they have only ever held water. Dave and Bryce get ready to launch the next water/air powered car. Getting pictures of those solid fuel rockets is hard, but where there is smoke, there is ignition.
